We had the pleasure of staying at this charming beach cottage in September, 2023 - and I must say, it exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed! Our hosts, Randy and Linda even left us a hand written card, and small vials and bags to collect seashells and sand in! Such a thoughtful gesture, and the perfect way to take home some of our memories.
The cottage itself is a delightful haven, exuding warmth and coziness in every corner. The décor is tastefully beach-themed, creating a serene and relaxed atmosphere. It felt like a home away from home, but with the added bonus of being just minutes away from the breathtaking Navarre Beach!
The bedroom, adorned with nautical touches, provided the perfect retreat after a day of sun-soaked adventures. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we loved that the master had a tv as well. This allowed for us to still have some chill time after putting the kiddos to bed!
One of the highlights of this home is undoubtedly the private patio and backyard. We also loved the backyard gate that gave us easy access to Johnny Houston’s restaurant, and the Grey Taproom just on the other side of the fence!
The kitchen was well-equipped, and we loved that all of the plates, cups, etc... were all kid friendly non-breakable options. However, with the local seafood restaurants just a short drive away, we often found ourselves indulging in all of the yummy eats that we can't get back home!
Randy and Linda were incredibly accommodating, providing us with helpful recommendations for local attractions and ensuring that our stay was nothing short of perfect. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction truly set this experience apart. It was so nice to not have to worry about bringing our own beach chairs, and beach toys - we almost bought boogie boards at the store on our way - but they have you covered there by providing those as well. Such a nice surprise for the kiddos to use!
In conclusion, if you're looking for a Cozy Beach Cottage retreat that combines comfort, charm, and convenience, look no further. This cottage is a gem, and we left with our hearts full of fond memories and a longing to return. Thank you to our hosts for sharing this little piece of paradise with us – we can't wait to come back again, and hopefully very soon! 🌊❤️

Pensacola: Take a short drive to Pensacola to explore the engaging exhibits at the Children's Museum or check out a Blue Angels practice, and explore the National Naval Aviation Museum.
Navarre Nature Walk: Hike or bike along the scenic trails of the Navarre Nature Walk, perfect for nature enthusiasts.
Destin: If you're looking for more upbeat tourist things to enjoy with the kiddos, head to Destin - plenty to do and see with the exciting beach vibes.
Find us where the turquoise waters meet the sugar-white sands – find us in Navarre with a drink in our hands.

Absolutley breathtaking, and we can't wait to come back and spend more days just like these!! Just at a loss for words... it was absolute perfection is the only way to describe it!!

Navarre Beach Fishing Pier

We could spend hours walking the pier taking in the beautiful views, and looking for sea life!
On our last day in Navarre, FL we had some waves coming in, and we were able to watch some of the surfers from the pier too - so fun!
The Navarre Beach Pier extends out into the Gulf of Mexico and is one of the longest fishing piers in Florida, measuring around 1,545 feet.
Blue Angels & The National Naval Aviation Museum

It was so amazing getting to see the Blue Angels up close during their practice - the museum was really neat to walk around after too! This was all free fun too - no charge for parking, entry to their practice or the museum. It really was priceless!!

Our favorite playground/splashpad right on the water!!😍☀️ We visited here a few different times during our stay as it was only a few minutes from the house (and it’s all free fun!!) - absolutely love it! They are expanding and adding more fun things soon too, so stay tuned to see what they add next!😁
Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center

We had a lot of fun here, and loved getting to meet the famous Sweet Pea!
The third picture here is a rescue that they had just brought in from the Navarre Pier that was tangled in some fishing line! They said everything looked to be ok, but they were going to do some X-rays before releasing back into the ocean!❤️

We saw lots of dolphins, and the sunset was perfect!! Highly recommend booking with Southern Star Dolphin Cruise for your dolphin cruise - we were fortunate to get to experience it all with our friends who were vacationing in Miramar Beach, FL too! Next time we are going to try out their pirate ship that they also run for tours! How fun!!
The sunrise on our last day in Navarre was so beautiful... we were sad to have to leave!! We could spend the day on the beach from Sunrise to Sunset and never get bored or tired of it!

These were the best subs from the Neighborhood Walmart Market - perfect for packing in our cooler on our beach days! We chose the chicken bacon ranch, but they have a few other subs available too! Cost wise is only $6.67 - $7.47 for a 12inch sub. We were even able to split it into 4 - for 2 different beach days for Tim and I (because we had other beach snacks packed in our cooler too). The kids wanted leftover pizza or pbj sandwich’s packed to go with their beach snacks instead.

The Grouper nuggets is an appetizer that we all shared - but then Brynlee loved it SO much that she ordered this for her meal instead of anything off of the kids menu, haha - AND she ate it all! This is also right by the beach, so we ate here and then walked the beach at night to look for crabbies! :)
